Rugby inspired apparel and merchandise for everyday life. Unique designs highlighting the intersection of rugby values on and off the pitch.

Throughout our years of rugby, we've found it nearly impossible to find novelty rugby-related items, outside of apparel, equipment and gear.

We wanted to merge the fun oddities and universal principles of rugby with design and elevation to represent our beloved sport in all aspects of our lives.

We aim for our products to be relatable, engaging, and practical. Our shop has a little something for everyone to enjoy.

 

The Magic Behind the Name 

When tasked with creating a name for our company, we were stumped.
Relatively new to the rugby world and all of its beautiful complexity and never-ending potential, it was hard for us to put into words all of what this great sport has taught and come to mean to us; let alone summarize all of that meaning into a simple company name.

We wanted the name to be an ode to rugby, but we knew that the principles and values the game reinforces are applicable to all aspects of life. So after a few brainstorming sessions, we agreed on two things: Life takes effort, determination, perseverance, resilience. But what use is all of it, if we don't breathe energy into what we are passionate about, switch things up, adapt, and most importantly, find joy in what we do.

So, why  ?

 because it's not only a rugby term that leads to success, but in everyday use, it is the act of making an effort to accomplish our biggest, wildest, and fiercest aspirations!

 because great rugby and life require structure and a plan of action, but is best enjoyed with sense of carefree and wild behavior.

We've learned that making an effort requires discipline in execution, but we can't forget to have fun and enjoy the journey.

And so, Try Antics was born.

Where this comes from...

Ask any player and/or fan and we guarantee they will refer to their team and the sport as "one, big family". Joining the rugger community is an instant bond. A family comprised of diverse individuals that thrive on the principles of committment, support, and passion.

There are also common phrases used amongst ruggers:

It is about fellowship, coming together for the love of the sport and the respect built for our teammates in obtaining our goals. To keep pushing and work harder for not only yourself, but for your teammates, and the greater benefit of the team.

15 players, minds, and skills coming together to move and work as 1.

Rugby is nothing without unity and that applies to not only on the field, but off the pitch too. After some fierce competition & a hard fought match, both teams come together to share food, drinks, stories, songs and laughter.

Win or lose, you can't beat cheap beer and rugby tradition.

These phrases are supported by the spirit and energy we put into everything we do.

It's in that moment as you're closing in on the try line with the defense on your tail.

When you're seconds away from making that soul breaking tackle.
While you're screaming on the side line as you see all of the blood, sweat and tears pay off on the pitch.
You can feel it all around as you sing along to the radio at the top of your lungs in a car full of ruggers on your way to a game.
It's in the crazy memories shared on a night out on the town in a new city after a tournament.
